A dry but very windy day (3 club strength) set the scene for the 17 golfers (including one guest) for the last combined roll up and monthly competition. The tough conditions resulted in low stableford scores with Clive Jones edging out Nigel Weldon for 2nd position with a better back nine on 32 points. The winner was Ian Forde who putted well to get a clear lead and finish with 35 stableford points.

Laleham: - Wed, 7th September at 14:00

20 golfers including one guest played at Laleham on a warm but showery day. 18 contended the roll up with quite a few stableford scores in the low 30's. Lee Carpenter came 3rd on count back ahead of Roger Woof with 35 points and David Burton 2nd with 36 points. The winner was none other than Bernie Forbes with easily the best score of the day - 40 stableford points including 2 birdies on the front 9, the 2nd being a two on the par 3 ninth - worth 5 points.

Pine Ridge: -Mon, 4th July at 15:30

This new later time Roll Up attracted 15 golfers including one guest and one new member - Avtar Panesar, on a lovely hot, Summer's afternoon. 13 entered the roll up competition and although Jeff Brister (41 points) & Dave Burton (40 points) recorded very good scores, they were beaten by Alan Snow with 42 stableford points which included 26 points on the front 9.

Thorney Park: -Tues, 21st June at 14:30

A warm, dry but windy day (2 club strength) greeted the 22 members who played the roll up and most entered the Summer Medal. John Grogan followed his good showing at the last roll up by winning with 39 stableford points. Nigel Weldon edged out Stan Knollman for 2nd place with both on 38 points with a better back 9 by virtue of birdies on the last 2 holes.

Laleham: - Tues, 24th May at 14:30

Yet again the roll up proved popular as 23 golfers played at Laleham on another fine afternoon for golf. The Laleham course although dry had excellent, fast greens, so it was surprising that the top score was 35 stableford points. Nigel Weldon proved best on the day, with 3 players on 34 points. John Grogan was 2nd, Jeff Brister 3rd both having better back nines that Jeff Thomas who was edged out in 4th place.

Thorney Park: - Thur, 5th May at 14:30

With the good weather continuing we had 19 golfers for the Spring Medal and Roll Up combined event on a warm but breezy day. There was a very good standard of stableford scores returned, with 16 players scoring 30 or higher points. Capt Chris Walker was piped for 3rd place by Dave Burton with a better back nine, both returning 39 points. Mark Mahomed was 2nd with 40 points and Bruce Miles the winner with 41 stableford points.

Laleham: - Wed, 6th April at 14:30

16 golfers played in the first combined medal & roll up event on a sunny, warm day - more like Summer than early Spring. The scoring was surprisingly low which was probably due to a stiff wind and unevent early season greens. The highest score was 34 stableford points with Clive Jones beating Bill Bissett on countback and Jeff Thomas edging 2 other golfers on 33 points with a better back 9.

Thorney Park: - Thur, 10th March at 12:30

The Winter roll ups are proving popular with 24 BA golfers taking part at Thorney on what would have been a warm day but for the 3 club wind which blew all afternoon. The course was in very good condition for the time of year with some quick greens, partly due to the wind. The scores were certainly affected by the very strong wind as only 5 golfers scored 30 or more stableford points. John Jones had the top score of 35 points with Malcolm Coleman 2nd on 34 and Jim Bermingham 3rd with 32 points.

Northwood: - Thur, 17th February at 11:30

A very good turn out of 23 golfers (22 BA golfers + 1 guest) for this Winter roll up at Northwood GC on what turned out to be a rather pleasant day with sunny intervals giving the day a Spring feel. Lee Carpenter won scoring 37 stableford points with Stan Knollman 2nd on 36 points and Capt, Chris Walker 3rd with 33 points.

Pineridge: - Wed, 19th January at 10:40

Bruce Miles won the first roll up of the year scoring 38 stableford points with 16 BA Golfers playing in the event. Les Sibley was 2nd with 36 points and Jeff Brister 3rd with 35 points.
